We want to encourage all queer-identifying solo performers to submit an application.
​All levels of experience (which includes none) will be thoughtfully considered.

QUEER SOLO 2020: June 2020 - specific dates TBA

 Submission Criteria

• Only submissions of original solo performance will be considered, performed by the writer/playwright. 
• Each piece must be written & performed by a queer artist. ​
• Submissions are of 15, 30 or 45 minute shows (or excerpts of full length shows).​

Solo Performance | a one person-show, autobiographical in nature, featuring a single person performing a story for an audience .

Queer | A term people often use to express fluid identities and orientations. Often used interchangeably with "LGBTQ.) Queer-themed content is not submission criteria. 

Submission includes a commitment:

• to perform in June, 2020 in San Francisco, CA.
• to participate in a moderated panel discussion (30-45 minute) focused on the process of writing/performing/producing a solo show following the last performance of the evening.
• to promote Queer Solo 2020 using the tools and materials provided by the event.
• to submit $100 festival fee upon selection.
